What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing involves using various musical instruments or vocal sounds to promote healing and well-being. The practice is based on the principle that everything in the universe, including our bodies, is in a state of vibration. When we are healthy, our body vibrates in harmony, but stress, illness, or emotional distress can disrupt this harmony.

The benefits of sound healing include:

  • Stress Reduction: The sounds can promote a state of relaxation deeper than what is achieved through typical meditation, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

  • Improved Sleep: Sound healing sessions can improve sleep quality by slowing down the brain waves, making it easier to reach a state of deep sleep.

  • Emotional Healing: Sound therapy can help release emotional traumas by stimulating the release of emotional blockages in the body.

  • Enhanced Physical Healing: It's believed to promote healing by improving circulation and reducing muscle tension, which can accelerate the body's natural healing processes.

*By purchasing this workshop, I acknowledge and accept the following terms as well as the following cautionary statements:

• Sound Bath Disclaimer: Sound baths are generally safe and healing for most, but if you're pregnant, have hearing aids, epilepsy, heart conditions, migraines, psychiatric disorders, are sensitive to sound, or use devices like pacemakers, insulin pumps, or metal implants, it's best to consult your doctor beforehand. Reactions to sound baths are individual and can bring up strong physical, emotional, or mental releases and responses. The sound vibrations may increase blood flow and guide you into a deeply relaxed state, potentially altering your state of consciousness. It's normal to feel deeply relaxed, fall asleep, or even feel lightheaded. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, please take a break. Remember to drink plenty of water afterward to help your body detox and take your time transitioning out of the session. We're here to support you and ensure you feel comfortable and at ease. Participation is voluntary, and by joining, you agree to assume full responsibility for your health and well-being.

• Pregnant individuals should refrain from engaging in breathwork or sound healing practices without prior approval from their healthcare provider.

• Those with asthma are advised to bring inhalers and consult with their healthcare provider and the session facilitator before participating.

• Participation is not recommended if you have consumed alcohol, drugs, or psychedelics in the past 24 hours or if you have been fasting for more than 72 hours.
